Have you ever wanted to participate in a real ghost hunt?  DAPI is partnering with The Grill at Fore to provide that opportunity!  Participants will use modern technology and traditional tools to investigate the old mansion that is now a popular restaurant. The building was formerly the home of President James Buchanan, and over a century of tragic deaths, some natural and some suspicious, make it a great place to look for restless spirits.  

The event will start at midnight with refreshments and an orientation.  Groups will move through parts of the mansion, looking for evidence of the hauntings that DAPI and other groups have experienced and recorded.   DAPI members will travel with each group.  We will limit the number of people who can participate to ensure a quality hunt for all.  Use your tools or ours.  

The hunt will end with a light breakfast at 5:00 a.m.,  DAPI will analyze the recordings and video collected and post results on our web site.

The "Grill at Fore" building was known as the home where our 15th President, James Buchanan, spent his summers. This location holds alot of mystery with this controversial President and the only President from PA.

This beautiful structure was also a stop for many travelers commuting between Lancaster and Philadelphia.
